It seems there’s no getting away from the hordes of adverts being thrown at us encouraging us to book a holiday for 2015. Whether it’s a hot beach holiday or a trip to the slopes, the New Year will certainly provide us with some incredible getaway destinations.

If you’re looking for somewhere to get away to with your girlfriends to this year, check out these fabulous trip ideas to make 2015 your best year yet.

Corsica, France

Located off the coast of France, Corsica provides a whole host of sights to see, culture to embrace and activities to try out. Visit Corsica if you’re something of a fitness freak – with its mountain ranges taking up two thirds of the island, it’s perfect for the keen climber. Visiting times are best between May and June and September and October, providing ideal weather for hiking, biking and horseback riding.

Medellín, Colombia

Ideal for ‘girly girls’, Medellin is famous for one very important reason – its flowers. The city had a previously poor reputation as the ‘world’s cocaine capital’ but it is quickly shaking off this reputation. Make sure you walk around the public parks which offer not only the aforementioned flowers, but also sculptures from some of Colombia’s most famous artists.

 Koyasan, Japan

Looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of South Africa? Koyasan provides a serene holiday experience, ideal for those looking to have a New Year detox. This year is particularly important for Koyasan, which celebrates its 1,200th anniversary. Celebrate in style in Koyasan by visiting the Aoba Festival for a float procession, or for something a little more tranquil, the Mandokuyo (Candle) Festival takes place in August.

 Kitzbuhel, Austria

Kitzbuhel is on the map at the moment thanks to its famed skiing championships taking place, but once all those festivities have died down, it’s also a fantastic skiing destination. Of course, there is far more to Kitzbuhel than its famed slopes – visitors can also wander around the Schwarzsee Lake or even hire a bike and take to the mountains.

 Sun City, South Africa

Feeling the pinch a little after Christmas? Of course, there’s plenty of fun to be had right here on South African soil. The Sun City resort features four hotels, all nestled within the beautiful South African landscape just two hours from Johannesburg. Amongst the resort’s stunning features are its glamorous casino. Today, many of us are looking to online alternatives – for example, many sites give holiday goers tips on how to play roulette, but a trip to this casino will show off just how much fun it is to play in the flesh. Make sure you balance out the hedonism a little though with a trip to the top of the King Tower – you won’t find any other view like it.

I am definitely going to make sure that I visit atleast two of these destinations this year!

Your Spiritual Journey Called Life

Your Journey called Life

Our journey in life is never one that is perfect. Even though some of us wish that it were, I would like to explain why it’s okay to have stumbling blocks along the way.

  1. You wouldn’t be where you are if you had not gone through what you have.
  2. Every step you take has brought you to where you are now.
  3. Your struggles makes you stronger.
  4. Take a moment to sit still and reflect on all the challenges you have overcome, don’t you feel proud that you were strong enough to overcome it?
  5. Sometimes no matter how hard, We need to forgive, but remember to never forget the lesson and what it has taught you thus far.
  6. Make it your goal to say “Thank You for the amazing life I have” by doing so, you are speaking positivity over your life.

In my 31 years on this planet. I have probably gone through enough challenges to write a book. Yet I have always known that God would never give me something that i could not handle, he would never give me something that my Faith could not carry me through. He trusts that me overcoming will help other people.

We are all on the earth to learn from our spiritual journey. How we connect to the higher power is no one’s business but between you and God.

And that is what I know for sure.

Sincerely Sue
