Feel Good Friday: No negative thoughts

At the end of the day, you can either focus on what’s tearing you apart, or what’s holding you together.” ~ Rob Dyer

Don’t allow negative thoughts to affect you

Hey readers,

Today my message is short and sweet.

Because I am two days away from reaching the big 31. I started thinking about being positive about life. Negative thoughts can really have such a bad effect on our daily lives, It can consume us to the point where you become sick and I personally know all about that. I want to encourage you that you start to be more positive about your life. Once you replace negative thoughts with positive ones, you’ll start having positive results.

I hope that you will Pursue a more positive attitude. How do you do that?  Right now, on the spot, think about three positive things in your life.

  1. My health
  2. My family and friends
  3. It’s my birthday weekend!

You see, that was easy peasy. You need to push through the dark clouds so that the beautiful sunshine can pierce through and give you hope that everything will be okay.

Become a “possibilitarian”  No matter how dark things seem to be or actually are, raise your sights and see possibilities — always see them, for they’re always there. ~ Norman Vincent Peale

Encouragement: Shine your light today

Everything you go through, grows you!

Happy Friday Everyone!

So it’s officially 9 days till my birthday and I have decided to write about the greatest lesson I’ve had to learn in my life, thus far.

At my 21st birthday, my dad told me to take my light from underneath the table and put it on a level where people can see who I really am. At that time I was scarred by some disappointments and had no self confidence.

He said: Suzanne Faith, let you light shine.

(Ps. that was my birth name)

Now saying let your light shine sounds could mean so many things but this is how I did it after 10 years since that speech was given by daddy. I decided to be the best possible me. I decided to just do what I believed was right, that was putting God first and the rest will follow. I believe that you help people that can do nothing for you, that is your inner light shining.

Over the years you learn so much about yourself, you learn to be confident and start trusting in your abilities, that is such an awesome feeling. Most people say Confidence is sexy. It just shows in the way you carry yourself.  Confidence is sexy, no doubt about it. Someone who knows how to do something well and owns that ability, that’s damn sexy alright. What is sexier to me is when someone who went through so much adversity and still manages to smile and choose to shine their light, brighter than before. So much that they kill the darkness in the lives of others.

Sue Faith Levy encouraging women

My passion is to encourage people with every skill I have acquired and every lesson I have learned in my darkest hour.

“When pain brings you down, don’t be silly, don’t close your eyes and cry, you just might be in the best position to see the sun shine.”
― Alanis Morissette

I’ve learnt that my calling is to be a source of hope to those who need it. With my writing and my talks I can use my thoughts to help someone who needs it most. With my Media skills, I can communicate with an audience on an online platform. With a heart of gratitude, I can be humble and give all the Glory to my creator. With God helping me out of my darkest hour, I can relate with those who are battling with a ongoing struggle of depression.

“Never dull your shine for somebody else.”
― Tyra Banks

I ask that today and all the days of your life, Pursue to let your light shine. Just enjoy life and enjoy learning about who you are, about what makes you uniquely you. There is nothing better than feeling good about yourself.

Sincerely Sue
