My secret: Keep the Faith. It’s a learning process.

You are where you need to be by Sue Faith Levy

Dear Readers,

I thought that I’d share a secret about myself.

What if I told you that I was about to give up on finding peace with my life here in Pretoria. I was very close to moving back to Cape Town after 2 and a half year of searching for my dream job. It’s one thing if your  partner is as successful as mine, but if you as a wife don’t succeed as much as you’d like, it can get depressing.

Knowing your potential and comparing it to what you are stuck in really take a toll on you.

In June, My grandma passed away(May her soul rest in peace), I hit an all time low. I could not focus because I wasn’t fulfilled because my soul was tarnished. God had taken away my only two loving grandparents in 1 year and 7 months. I could imagine what my uncles and aunts were going through, but most importantly … My mother. How can any person survive a death of her mother? It has to be one of thee most difficult challenges in life.

When going through this whole process. I kept repeating words to make me cope with the who unbalanced situation.

Keep the Faith. It’s a learning process.

Just because you aren’t where you think you should be in your life doesn’t mean you’re not exactly where you are meant to be.

It’s been 4 months since the passing of my grandmother and we are approaching 2 years since my grandfather passed. It’s still hard, but it’s bearable. It’s emotional when I think of them, but I’m starting to accept that I had two amazing grandparents.

Sometimes we get caught up in the idea that we need to achieve certain things by a certain time of our lives. When we don’t it’s easy to feel like a failure or beat yourself up for not being where you expected.

Just remember to Keep the Faith.

Just Keep the Faith.

Sincerley Sue
